All About Minecraft 1.6
All About Minecraft 1.6Minecraft is probably one of the most widely played games ever created by a developer. Although the game was initially created for the PC platform, it has since moved on to consoles and online gaming platforms as well. Although the number of players is much greater than that of a few years ago, the evolution of the game has been gradual and probably not at all surprising.First, there were some changes made to the game to make it easier to play. Many of the classic achievements had been removed from the game as they were considered too difficult to be realistic. As a result, players only had to complete 10 achievements before being able to use the Java to access those achievements. Then, the developers released a new update to the game, which added Achievements (aka, Dice). These were essentially separate versions of the Minecraft achievements. The new update also allowed players to use their new weapons and armor with them. This was extremely beneficial as playe rs were able to get rid of the old achievements that only required players to use the original versions of the items.Players, however, started to get frustrated with having to do these achievements over again. This created a demand for a more challenging game. The developers realized this demand when they released a series of 'leveling'more challenging' versions of the game.A few examples of these were Mine Puzzle and Expert Mode. Both of these new versions of the game had a vast amount of different elements to them. Players were required to take on the challenge of reaching a certain level of challenge with each new update. This did encourage players to continue playing the game in order to beat the new challenges in the new update.Another area that has changed is the crafting system. Some of the achievements required players to create specific types of items, many of which had been removed from the game. This created a demand for players to acquire the items which the older versio ns of the game didn't have. The new crafting system also provided players with a variety of recipes that would allow them to create items much more quickly. So, it seems the developers are constantly improving the game. They have even established a feedback and moderation system that allows players to provide feedback on what they feel needs to be improved.
